Finally, you can buy a Google Chromecast from Amazon. This decision comes in after almost three years for pulling Apple TV, Nexus player, and Chromecast off the racks. While Jeff Bezos backed the decision by saying “Amazon wanted their Amazon Prime video on the device, but did not like the terms offered by the two companies” however, it was seen as Amazon’s attempt to push the sales of its own Fire TV line of products.
Both Google and Amazon have been at loggerheads over promoting their content on each other’s streaming device, since. Amazon blocked the sales of Chromecast stating that it lacked Prime Video support, however, Amazon itself is responsible for adding the support. Later, it added its own version of YoutTube on Echo Show without Google’s approval and blocked some Nest products from selling on Amazon. Google responded by stating that it would block YouTube from the Echo Show and Fire TV devices.
While product listings for Chromecast and Chromecast Ultra were present on Amazon, however, both the products were “not available”. Now, Amazon has made the products available and both Chromecast and Chromecast Ultra are being sold at their regular price along with Prime shipping. You can purchase them from here and here

Why are two links provided there at the bottom? It looks like both are identical and have the same URLs too.
The battle between big players is hilarious at times. Amazon says they blocked the Chromecast sales because it didn't have Prime Video support, though it was Amazon itself that added the same.
Yes, it can get into heated moments at times. Amazon was right to think they wanted their product to be pushed. But was that ethical?
