Bose, the well-known company that specializes in audio products has now expanded its headphones and earbuds series by launching three new creations. These are Noise Canceling Headphones 700, Earbuds 500, and Noise Canceling Earbuds 500. The new series is said to be the successor to the QuietComfort lineup for which Bose has been popular for many years now.
Coming first to the Noise Canceling headphones 700, they feature a refreshed design. From including Bluetooth for wireless connectivity to the newly positioned adjusting mechanism, this headset has adopted many changes. It also includes an improved microphone system the will function for both the noise cancellation and voice calling functions, touch controls, and a claimed battery life of up to 20 hours. Besides the brand new design, the 700 feature Bose AR, the world’s first audio augmented reality platform. This provides audio prompts and cues with information when used outdoors or at specific locations.
These headphones are also voice assistant-enabled and have been optimized for use with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, but you can also use Siri as well. A new app called the Bose Music is also available for iOS and Android which you can use with these headphones for controlling specific functions.
Coming to the Bose Earbuds 500, these are updated version of the SoundSport Free earbuds but have a smaller and sleeker profile. The device includes touch controls to access Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. They also include the Bose AR, just like the Noise Canceling headphones 700. The last of the series as the name implies holds the noise cancelation capability but it will be available in 2020 only. The Bose Earbuds 500, on the other hand, will be available in late 2019. Pricing of both the devices is unknown now.
