Huami, the wearable device company has launched a new product under its Amazfit brand of fashionable activity trackers. The all-new Amazfit Health Watch has been launched with some interesting features and elegant design.
One of the main features of the watch which is touted by the company is fall detection. To our understanding, the watch will detect a fall while you’re wearing it. However, it hasn’t been elaborated how the watch will do that. But this feature is quite similar to Apple Watch 4’s so we assume, it will output an audio alarm and also show the alert on the display. You can then choose to contact emergency services or dismiss the alert. As you would notice, Amazfit Health Watch has a square dial and is identical in looks with Apple Watch series.
Another highlight of the wearable is that it is powered by Huangshan No.1 chipset. This is touted as the world’s first wearable processor that comes integrated with AI neural network. But there isn't much elaboration on AI features.
The company also states the Amazfit Health Watch can report emergency health events in real time without Bluetooth connection. There’s even a feature that issues an emergency SMS in case your heart acts up.
The latest health watch from Amazfit can also detect low heart rate and atrial fibrillation among others. This watch is also touted to store up to 60 minutes of ECG data locally and last up to 7 days. It also lets you log all your health data on the cloud and get online consultation on your health.
The Amazfit Health Watch also has 3ATM water resistant rating, so you take it during your exercise and all. It comes in a bunch of different colors. They all come with silicone bands, with the exception of the brown variant that comes with an actual leather strap.
The price and availability of the Huami Amazfit Health Watch are unknown but we expect to hear them sooner.
