Samsung Galaxy Fit, the fitness tracker is now getting its first update that doesn’t bring any big features but there’s a significant one, even though the update is small in size. The new firmware version R370XXU0ASG1 is now rolling in France and it measures 20.72MB.
To start with Samsung has added a new virtual button which lets Galaxy Fit users take a quick measurement of the heart rate in the specific widget. The update also brings improvements to the algorithms and stability to the battery charging. There aren't any other changes reported in the update.
The Galaxy Fit fitness tracker by Samsung is now widely available in all major countries. It arrived in the US and Canada less than a month ago. Later it launched in India alongside its cheaper version which is Galaxy Fit e and in fact, has recently gone available for purchase in the country. The Galaxy Fit can display a dual clock watch face when a user enters into a different time zone. It has a 0.95-inch full-color AMOLED display and comes available in Black & Silver color options. It has a larger battery compared to its sibling and even includes NFC support. It offers enhanced sleep monitoring and intelligent stress management.
The same update should roll out to other countries as well, though it’s unknown exactly when. Note that part of this update was rolled out to the cheaper Galaxy Fit e already.
