Vivo has launched its first Bluetooth True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Earphone at an event in China where it also introduced the NEX 3 5G smartphone. The Apple Earbuds-like TWS earphones by Vivo packs the world’s first flagship wireless chip Qualcomm QCC5126 and supports Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity.
The audio accessory has 14.2mm drivers and has support for aptX and AAC high-definition audio decoding technology. The earphones have dual-channel transmission which enables the ability to reduce the latency by up to 44% and 30% of power consumption compared with ordinary transmission technology.
The Vivo TWS Earphone also features sliding adjustment volume and customizable touch operation. The earphone’s battery can last for just 4 hours but the casing doubles as a battery pack as well which can offer up to 24 hours of battery support.
The Vivo TWS earphones work with the Jovi voice assistant and lets you do several things hands-free. According to Vivo, the TWS Earphone has been in development for more than 2 years and packs several advanced and industry-first technology. The earphones weigh only 4.4g and it can fit users’ ear without any difficulty.
The Vivo TWS Earphone comes in Black and White color options and is priced at 999 Yuan which translates to US$ 141. It will go on sale in China from September 28.
