Acer has unveiled the new 15-inch Acer Swift 5 laptop which weighs less than 1Kg. The laptop maker has unveiled the laptop at the Next @ Acer global press conference.
The Acer Swift 5 laptop has thin bezels measuring just 5.87mm, giving it an 87.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device is constructed with a combination of magnesium-lithium and magnesium-aluminium alloy which gives a smart finish and sturdy look to the laptop.
It comes with Acer Colour Intelligence technology, which dynamically adjusts gamma and saturation in real-time. The tech optimising screen colour, and brightness. The sleek notebook is equipped with BluelightShield technology which allows adjusting of the screen's blue-light emission over extended periods of use.
The Acer Swift 5 laptop is powered by the latest Intel processors which promise a good battery life. The Swift 5 comes with Intel Wireless-AC 9560 tech which offers Wi-Fi 802.11ac connectivity. The notebook has 1TB of SSD storage and up to 16GB of DDR4 memory.
Connectivity options included in the Swift 5 are USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 2 port, an HDMI port, two USB 3.1 Type-A ports, and an SD card reader. The Swift 5 comes with support for Windows Hello via a fingerprint reader.
The detailed specifications, prices, and availability of the Acer Swift 5 will be shared soon. The Swift 5 is expected to be priced at approximately £1000 which is similar to the existing models launched by the company.
