It’s that time of year again, IFA 2018, an event which showcases the unveiling of so many new computers and tech gadgets. It seems like Acer is at the top of its game as the company has announced three new versions of laptops which it claims as the lightest, improving portability. The new Acer lightweight laptops unveiled at IFA 2018 include the Acer Swift 7, Acer Swift 5, and Acer Swift 3. The Acer Swift 7 is less than 10mm thick and even has what everyone so desires, an edge-to-edge display.
Acer is sticking to the very same 14-inch display of its earlier Swift 7, but the bezels have shrunk even further, making it ultra slim. As of now, we know that the updated Acer Swift 7 laptop will be equipped with the latest Intel Core i7 8th generation processor. Unfortunately, we’re still not too sure about the pricing on this laptop.
The Acer Swift 5 will feature a 1080p resolution with screen size options ranging from 13.3-inches to 14-inches and it too like the updated Acer Swift 7, will be powered by an 8th generation Intel CPU.
Like the others, Acer also has a refresh for its Acer Swift 3. The Swift 3 will also have a 14-inch display and come with Intel’s latest generation chipset. The Acer Swift 3 will also be available in different options. The Acer Swift 5 is expected to cost between $999-$1099 depending upon the configuration while the Acer Swift 3 will cost around $799.
