Acer has announced one new Predator monitor and a new Nitro monitor in three different configurations during the ongoing IFA 2018. These monitors are available in 27-inches size between a price ranges of $449 to $1299 and will be available in North America starting Q4 2018.
The Acer Predator XB273K supports Nvidia’s G-Sync tech and comes with an IPS panel and an4K/UHD resolution of 3840*2160 pixels. This monitor supports refresh rates up to 144 Hz and comes with a three-sided encasing called as “Shielding Hood” that keeping off distractions while you enjoy gaming on this monitor.
The Acer Predator XB273K monitor covers 90 percent of DCI-P3 gamut and offering you vivid colors and dark blacks. To further promise both color accuracy and contrast this monitor is Vesa DisplayHDR-400 certified.
The XB273K comes with Acers VisionCare to help your eyes manage long gaming sessions with different technologies like Flicker-free, low dimming, and blue light emission reduction.
Acer has released three new monitors with AMD’s FreeSync technology support. Like the new Predator series monitor, these Nitro monitors claims a refresh rate of 144 Hz and are available in 4K/UHD or WQHD (2560*1440 pixels) resolutions.
These Nitro monitors are VESA DisplayHDR-400 certified promising both color accuracy & contrast and includes six-axis color adjustments for tweaking color, hue, and saturation. Nitro monitors come with a “black boost” feature offering 11-different black level choices.
The UHD Nitro monitor (XV273K) Monitor comes with an IPS panel offering better viewing angles and color accuracy is priced at $899. The slightly lower resolution WQHD (XV272U) comes at $499 and offers 95% DCI-P3 coverage. Acer has also announced a WQHD resolution monitor with a TN (Twisted Nematic) panel for better power efficiency and is priced at $449 covering 90 percent of DCI-P3 gamut. All of these Nitro monitors com with Vesa Mount and Acer VisionCare.
