NVIDIA at Computex 2019 announced its Quadro line of RTX GPUs is coming to a series of laptops. We have already reported that Razer is upgrading its Blade laptops with the new GPUs from NVIDIA, but there’s one more OEM which has announced its offering at the event. Acer has announced a new laptop with latest NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000.
With its new laptop, Acer also announced a new brand – the ConceptD, a new series of high-end computers targeting creators such as video and graphics designers. The first in this series is ConceptD 7 Notebook mobile workstation which features a 15.6-inch UHD IPS display and comes powered by up to 9th generation Intel Core i7 processor coupled with the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000.
The ConceptD 7 notebook is light and thin despite the powerful internals. It holds 0.7-inch thickness and has 2.1Kg weight.
Acer will be offering both Thunderbolt 3 and mini DisplayPort for connecting up to three external displays which can be two 8K displays or three 5K displays.
Full specifications of the Acer ConceptD 7 notebook are unknown. Also, the company didn’t share the pricing and availability details as well.
