Acer Chromebook 712 with Intel Core i3-10110U SoC, Wi-Fi 6 launched for $330

Acer has launched a new Chromebook called the Chromebook 712 (C871) in the US at an affordable price. The Chromebooks are best suited for educational purposes and the latest model is no different as it caters to the same needs.

The Chromebook 712 is sturdy as well as has a MIL-STD-810G durability rating, a spill-resistant keyboard, and also mechanically anchored keys. It features a 12-inch, 1366×912 IPS display with a 3:2 aspect ratio. The Chromebook is available in both touch and non-touch variations. It has a thick chassis with an all-black profile.

The Acer Chromebook 712 is powered by the 10th-gen Intel processors with up to a Core i3. The model is also available with Pentium Gold 6405U, or a Celeron 5205U chips, so you can buy according to your need. There are also two storage tiers, 32GB/64GB, two memory tiers 4GB/8GB RAM. Battery life is rated at 12 hours with a 48Wh battery.

Connectivity options include two USB 3.1 ports for data transfer as well as charging as two full-size USB-A ports. There is also a microSD card reader, an HD webcam, dual-band WiFi with WiFi 6 support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Bluetooth 5.0.

The price of the Acer Chromebook 712 starts at $329/€349 EUR and it will be available in April directly from the company.
