Acer Revo Build modular mini PC bagged "Best Choice of the Year" award at Computex 2016

The ongoing Computex 2016 event in Taipei has added many awards to the bag of Acer. The Taiwanese company managed to receive many awards for its modular PC aesthetics. Acer announced that their Revo build mini PC based on the modular concept has grabbed the Best Choice of the Year award as well as the Best Choice Gold award at the Computex 2016 event. Not only this, the Revo Build has many bagged many more titles like Product Design 2016, IFA Design Award 2016, and has been named as a CES 2016 Innovations Award Honoree.

Acer Revo Build is a mini PC that is easily customized with blocks that perform different functions such extra storage, speakers, and microphones, or even wireless charging. The magnetic pogo pins provided helps in connecting the various blocks with the Revo Build. This makes the assembling quite easy. The PC is packaged in a tiny liter chassis with a 125x125mm footprint that takes up the minimal space.

Apart from this, there are two more products that also intrigued many and hence managed to grab awards. Best Choice awarded the curved Acer XR342CK gaming monitor in the “Gaming” category, while the Acer H277HU USB Type-C monitor was awarded in the “Peripherals & 3D Printing” category.

Acer XR342CK is a gaming monitor featuring a 34-inch 21:9 panel with a 1900R curvature and delivers immersive, picture-perfect visuals. Acer H277HU is a part of the H7 series monitors, which are among the world’s first to support USB Type-C. So, it’s easy to transfer the data and display content from notebooks or smartphone, while charging them at the same time.
