22 February 2019 2

Alcatel is one of the regular attendees of the annual MWC event in Barcelona. It takes the platform to announce a bunch of smartphones aimed at different types of buyers. It has similar plans for MWC 2019 as well but renowned tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) has already leaked the complete Alcatel smartphones lineup.

There are a total of six smartphones where two belong to Alcatel 1 series and the remaining four belong to Alcatel 3 series. These are Alcatel 1S, Alcatel 1V, Alcatel 3C, Alcatel 3L, Alcatel 3V, and Alcatel 3. Let's have a look at each of these phones one by one.

Alcatel 1S

The Alcatel 1S sports a 5.5-inch HD+ IPS display with 81.3% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it has an octa-core Spreadtrum SC9863A processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. There is 32GB internal storage which should be expandable. On the back, it has a 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel dual rear camera setup with LED flash. It features a 5-megapixel front camera with LED flash. The whole package is powered by a 3060mAh battery and it will be running Android 9 Pie. Other features include a fingerprint scanner and face unlock support.

Alcatel 1V

With Alcatel 1V, buyers will get a 5.5-inch FWVGA+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It has an undisclosed octa-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. There are an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera with LED flash on both sensors. It packs a 2460mAh battery to keep the lights on and runs on Android Pie (Go edition). Despite being an Android Go device, it features a fingerprint scanner as well.

Alcatel 3C

The Alcatel 3C features a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS display which is the biggest one in the lineup. It has a quad-core MediaTek MT8321 chipset paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It has an 8-megapixel rear shooter and a 5-megapixel front shooter. The whole package is powered by a 3000mAh battery and runs Android 9 Pie. It also has a fingerprint scanner and face unlocking.

Alcatel 3L

The Alcatel 3L is one of the two smartphones in the lineup with a notched display. It has a 5.9-inch HD+ display with a notch and 88.4% screen-to-body ratio. It features a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 processor with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB of internal storage with likely support for microSD cards. It offers a 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual rear camera setup with phase detection autofocus, real-time bokeh, AI powers, and single-tone LED flash. On the front, it features an 8-megapixel camera with LCD flash. There is a 3,500mAh battery to keep the show going but surprisingly, it runs Android Oreo out of the box. Although, it is said to receive Android Pie down the line.

Alcatel 3V

The Alcatel 3V offers a 6.7-inch HD+ FullView IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It will come with an undisclosed octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage. Like other phones in the lineup, it also offers face unlocking.

Alcatel 3

Lastly, Alcatel 3 features a 5.94-inch HD+ IPS notched display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 89.6% screen-to-body ratio.
