Samsung has quietly unveiled the Galaxy J2 2017 Edition entry level phone in India. The phones price has been tipped for Rs 7,390, by Mumbai-based offline retailer Mahesh Telecom. The company has not revealed the pricing and availability of the phone yet.
The Galaxy J2 2017 is the successor to the Galaxy J2 2016, which was launched last year in India. The J2 2017 features a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display, with a quad-core SoC paired and 1 GB of RAM. The phone has 8 GB internal storage expandable up to 128 GB using a microSD card slot.
The Galaxy J2 (2017) has a 5 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera for clicking selfies. Connectivity options included in the phone are dual-SIM card, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS. It is backed by a 2,000mAh battery. The phone is available in Absolute Black and Metallic Gold colors.
The Samsung phone comes with some interesting features like Smart Manager and Ultra Data Saving Mode. The smart manager feature helps in creating more space in your phone by freeing up cache, and automatically deleting duplicate images and APK files. The phone also comes with an Ultra Data Saving Mode, which helps in saving data by up to 50 percent, claims the company.
