Nokia 2 budget phone is up for pre-order in the US for $99

The budget Nokia 2 smartphone is now available for pre-order in the US for $99. The Nokia 2 had been spotted on FCC and had also alleged images of the entry level phone had popped up online ahead of its official launch.

The Nokia 2 is a budget device is listed on B&H's site with a price of $99. The phone is available for pre-order though the site doesn’t mention the launch date of the phone. The Nokia 2 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor with 1 GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card slot. The phone has a 4.7 inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The phone runs on Android 7.1 OS out of the box.

The entry-level phone has an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. The front snapper on the phone comes with a 5MP sensor. Connectivity options included in the Nokia 2 are WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, GPS, and microUSB. It has an accelerometer sensor and is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. The Nokia 2 will be available in black and white colours. HMD Global is expected to release the phone in November this year.
