Xiaomi has started to roll out the MIUI 9 global stale ROM to Redmi Note 4 and Mi Max 2 users around the globe. The rollout has started just one day after the announcement which happened in Delhi, India yesterday. While Xiaomi said that Mi MIX 2 will also be receiving the update from today, its users are yet to receive the same.

The MIUI 9 update has been released for both Redmi Note 4 (Qualcomm) and Redmi Note 4X variants. It means regardless of what variant you have, you should keep an eye on for the update notification. You can also check for the update manually by visiting Settings -> About Phone section. The procedure remains the same for Mi Max 2 users as well.
