Leaked OnePlus 5T reviewer’s kit, teaser, and more

11 November 2017 0

The launch of the OnePlus 5T is just around the corner and teasers as well as renders have surfaced online. In addition to this pictures of a OnePlus 5T reviewer's kit was posted on Twitter. Well, if you’ve been following up on reviews of the company’s previous smartphones, you’ll know that they bundle a load of goodies with them. So, what does the OnePlus 5T reviewer’s kit contain?

As usual, it includes the Never Settle gear, which is always wonderful to have. Along with this, there is a user manual and brochure depicting the much-awaited handset. What is extremely interesting of course is the smartphone’s new design. It seems like OnePlus has finally jumped on the overhyped bezel-less display bandwagon. However, this isn’t a bad thing, but it does force the company to push the fingerprint scanner to the back of the device.

Can you see the circular cutout in the images above? That’s proof enough of a change in position of the fingerprint scanner. Images of the brochure are unclear but it looks like the circular rear placed fingerprint scanner may have the company’s logo embedded into it. If this were true, it would definitely be an ingenious move!

We are well aware that the OnePlus 5T has an improved camera over its predecessor owing to the image posted by Carl Pei on Twitter sometime back. Another camera teaser has popped up, from the same source and again on Twitter. This one, however, shows image quality in low light scenarios. The image posted in breath-taking! Nothing says ‘purchase me’ better than an overpowered and high-performance device. Want to have a look at the punch that the OnePlus 5T packs? Have a look at the leaked Geekbench score. It is certainly in line with other flagship devices!

How much is it going to cost you to purchase this beast? Apparently, no vital organs, if you get what I mean! The device is expected to be available in two variants, one with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM for $479 (Rs 32,999) and the other will feature 8GB RAM with 128GB ROM for $539 (Rs 37,999). If you live in India, don’t forget, the OnePlus 5T will be sold exclusively on Amazon.
