OnePlus 5T Brooklyn launch event tickets are sold out

OnePlus 5T launch event is scheduled for Nov 16, in Brooklyn and according to reports, it’s completely sold out!

The company has announced that it will give OnePlus fans the opportunity to attend the event and see the new OnePlus 5T phone unveiled, as well as witness a presentation by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei and other OnePlus team members, alongside the press.

OnePlus sold the tickets for around $40, which gave buyers access to the event as well as one of their popular backpacks filled with free goodies. The backpack and goodies are worth approximately $65, so the gift pays off the cost of the admission. OnePlus has stated that all the proceeds from the event will be donated towards a charity.

Till now, OnePlus has done launches in VR and via live stream, and this is the first time that the company is having an offline event for a new phone. The event will start at 11 AM.

OnePlus 5T is rumored to have a 6-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will have thin bezels, and come with a rear fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the smartphone will come with a Snapdragon 835 SoC. The phone is expected to come in two variants, one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage, and the second with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. The handset will reportedly come with a dual rear camera set up and will be powered by a 3300mAh battery.

The event is open to the public too, I heard and that's why the low ticket pricing. But still it's beneficial for the company.
