Tablets, specifically Android tablets, have been a niche product since their early days and they remain so even after so many years. Even Google itself could not change the scene which seems to be the reason it released its last tablet Pixel C in 2015. But one can argue that it was the steep pricing of the Pixel C tablet which proved to be the deadlock for it since the launch. While Google never really dropped the price in these years, it has finally decided to do so for the users in the United Kingdom and Europe.
As per the deal, Google has slashed the Pixel C pricing in the UK to £299 for the 64GB variant. It is a significant price drop considering that it was launched for £479. This makes the tablet a worth buying even after two years as it not only features a good hardware but is also upgradeable to the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. The deal gets even better as the external keyboard accessory has now been listed for £73 instead of £119. It means you can now get both the tablet and keyboard for £372 which is way cheaper than just the tablet at the time of the launch.
But if you happen to live outside of the UK and within Europe, you have the opportunity to get the Pixel C for only €349. This is a relatively higher pricing than the UK but is still a cheap offering considering the launch price. The offer is valid only for the 64GB variant which is because Google has already discontinued 32GB model in all regions.
These appear to be short-time deals which is why we would recommend you grab them as soon as possible. This could also be an attempt from Google to clear the last stock as the tablet has gone out of stock in the United States. Either way, it is a deal you would not want to miss if you are looking for a solid Android tablet with good hardware as well as latest software.
