OnePlus 5T with bezel-less display and Snapdragon 835 SoC launched

OnePlus has once again come up with its best for the customers that never settle! The OnePlus 5T is now official and the launch has confirmed all those rumors that we were receiving for a past few days. OnePlus 5T is the company’s second flagship of the year just like OnePlus 3T was after the OnePlus 3. Well, OnePlus 5T gets a visible design change over its predecessor OnePlus 5 and this is a bezel-less display. Apart from this, OnePlus 5T looks aesthetically similar to OnePlus 5; you can see the same placement of the dual cameras set up, same back design, and same colors. However, the new device does get a minute change in its camera too.

OnePlus 5T has an aluminum anodized material body and it looks beautiful in Midnight Black and Slate Gray color options.

The new full-screen display with the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio is what the OnePlus 5T featuring. The device gets a full-screen Optic AMOLED display with 2160x1080 pixels resolution. Needless to say, the device gets its power from Snapdragon 835 processor and holds 6GB RAM with 64GB or 128GB internal storage options to choose from.

Something that makes OnePlus devices nearly flawless is the selection of stock-like experience. OnePlus says OxygenOS is built around reliability, efficiency, speed, and user feedback. OnePlus at the launch event told that the company is working closely with 250+ closed beta testers that continuously help it to make OS better. OnePlus really stressed on the fact that it builds everything after getting the feedback from the testers and responses from the users.

OnePlus 5T runs on OxygenOS based Android 7.1.1 OS and the Android Oreo Open Beta program will start in early December.

OnePlus 5 has already proved itself in terms of performance by fighting a battle with top contenders and now we expect the same from the OnePlus 5T as it holds the same system.

OnePlus 5T comes with Face Unlock and according to the demo given at the launch event, it looks quite fast. However, the company did mention that it hasn't applied this functionality to apps that gain sensitive information, for instance, payment apps and for them, OnePlus' speedy fingerprint scanner is still there.

OnePlus 5T offers improvements in Low-light and Portrait Mode. It includes dual camera setup and the second lens has been improved and it now holds f/1.7 aperture. For better portrait pictures, OnePlus has applied Intelligent Pixel Technology to the second lens. Also, OnePlus 5T can shoot 4K videos at 30fps with EIS technology for stabilized videos.

The company is also introducing new features such as Gaming DND, Parallel Apps, and OnePlus Reach to make data transfer easier

This new OnePlus 5T will be available for purchase starting from November 21 in North America, India, and Europe. The price of the device is $499. 499 Euros, Rs. 32,999 for the 6GB/64 GB version and $559, 559 Euros, Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB/128 GB version.
