UPDATE (November 22, 2017)
The Huawei Nova 3 handset is now certified by TENAA. Although this time no specifications were leaked, new images suggest that the device will be available in more than one colors. One of the variant combines White and Blue, with the blue on back and sides along with the fingerprint scanner. The front side of the device is white.
Huawei launched two mid-range devices, the Nova 2 and the Nova 2 Plus earlier this year. Now, however, according to a new leak, the company might be working on a successor smartphone with an 18:9 full-screen display. The alleged Nova 3 has now leaked in a couple images that give us a glimpse of the body and a couple of hardware installed on it.
The images show the smartphone with a gold color variant, but since Huawei is known for releasing a device in multiple colors, we might expect to see in other colors as well. We can also see that Huawei has opted to continue using the dual rear camera setup on the back. On the bottom, the device will feature a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer accompanied by a single unit speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The phone has an 18:9 aspect ratio, which we have come to see in many flagships in the market. However, where many companies opt to push the fingerprint scanner on the back of the device, Huawei seems to differ. We can see the fingerprint scanner mounted on the front panel just below the display. On the top of the phone, we can see an IR blaster and what seems to be a second microphone.
Right now, there is no news either on the launch or pricing of the smartphone. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we get the news.
