About a week ago, Alcatel’s upcoming lineup of smartphones was leaked that showcased six top-tier smartphones. Out of the six, one of the devices has now leaked yet again with specifications and images. The Alcatel 5 (TCL A5) was spotted at the China Mobile Global Partner Conference 2017.
At the first glance, the Alcatel 5 looks a bit weird as it has unsymmetrical bezels; a giant one at the top and thin ones on the rest of the three sides. The device features a 5.7-inch frameless IPS screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels (FHD+). It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor and features a 16-megapixel dual camera setup on the front. The rest of the specifications are still under the wraps as of now.
As of now, there is no information on the cost of the smartphone or its availability in the market. It is also unclear if the company plans to launch the phone outside the Chinese market. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more about the device, so stay tuned.
