Honor V10 leaked Geekbench entry reveals an octa-core CPU

27 November 2017 2

Geekbench, the benchmark which has gained a reputation for itself not only for being a trusted benchmark but also for it being the source of many leaks. A new Geekbench entry cropped up on the internet bearing the model number “HUAWEI BKL-AL20”. This is believed to be the upcoming and rumoured Honor V10. A leak like this usually suggests that the device is currently being tested and may be announced by the company fairly soon. The leak reveals quite a lot about the innards of the device and it is nothing short of impressive!

The Honor V10 may feature an octa-core CPU running at a clock speed of 1.84GHz. Coupled with this is 6GB RAM. This combination could very possibly point towards the latest HiSilicon Kirin 970 chip which was featured for the very first time by the company in the Honor Mate 10. The device also seems to be running on Android Oreo 8.0, Google’s latest version of Android. This is definitely going to make for a flagship device and it’s nice to see the company ending the year with its release.

Last but not the least is the score that the device achieved in Geekbench. The multi-threaded score sat at a high 6558 points and so did its single-threaded performance of 1915 points. This is definitely something to be excited about. For now, only this is known and the rest is still a mystery!

The Honor View 10 isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.
