Oppo A83 appears at TENAA with 5.7-inches 2:1 display

So far we have seen tons of new smartphones this year, today we entered the last month of the year but from the look of the things, it seems like the companies are still willing to bring more smartphones this year. Huawei already confirmed an event during December whereas it looks like another Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo is also getting ready.

Today a new Oppo branded smartphone A83 appears at TENAA certification which not only reveals the specs sheet but also the design of A83. The device is bringing a 5.7-inches display with 2:1 aspect ratio and screen resolution are HD+ 720 x 1440 pixels. An Octa-core chipset is powering the device with 2GB RAM and built-in storage is 16GB. Either it could be Helio P30 SoC on Helio P25.

The rear primary snapper is 13MP module whereas the selfie camera on the front-facing is 8MP. Oppo A83 dimensions are 150.5 x 73.1 x 7.7mm and it weighs 143g. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Nougat 7.1.1 with ColorOS 3.2 layer over it. A 3,090mAH battery cell is on board to keep its lights on. At the moment it is still in the dark when Oppo will officially release this device but the specs sheet clearly indicates the company's upcoming entry-level device will be the challenger to Xiaomi's Redmi 5 Plus.
