For the Chinese customers, the OnePlus 5T Pre-orders kicked off on November 28th and so far more than 400K people registered for the company's latest bezel-less smartphone. Most of the registrations are related to free unit of flagship killer OnePlus 5T or users pre-registered to grab the device with discounts.
For those who are unaware, the registrations don't mean 400K people are pre-ordering in the device but instead, it does indicate the number of people who are interested in the OnePlus 5T. The final number of buyers might be much less than registrations. The OnePlus 5T will be released on December 5th in China.
The Chinese variant has two exclusive features which weren't available for the global buyers. The first exclusive feature is it will be available in two colors including Matt Black and Lava Red whereas for the global buyers it is available in Matt Black only. Second, it will be pre-installed with Hydrogen OS straight out of the box which means the Google Play services won't be available.
Just for the sake of reminder, the OnePlus 5T is featuring a 6.01-inches display with FulL HD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC is powering the device with 6/8GB RAM. The base variant has 64GB RAM whereas the top of the line variant has the 128GB memory which isn't further expandable via MicroSD card.
Like most of the latest flagships, the OnePlus 5T also has dual rear cameras. The primary snapper is the 16MP module with f/1.7 aperture whereas the secondary sensor is the 20MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture. Up front, the selfie camera is the 16MP module with f/2.0 aperture.
