Many new reports and speculations for the Galaxy S9 are appearing online stating a few things about the device and what it may hold when goes official. Now, a new report cites an unnamed source as saying that Samsung Galaxy S9 may also come in purple color option apart from just the Gold, Black, and blue colors offered with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
Well, this isn’t something new we are hearing solely about the Galaxy S9. The same report did come for the Galaxy S8; in fact, we did see a render of the same online, though it couldn’t make it to the finals.
Now, according to the current report, there will be a darker shade of purple that would be considered closer to a violet color. The front of the phone will remain all-black and it’s expected that the same color will also grace the Galaxy S9+.
Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will, of course, feature the same Infinity display as the current flagships. We are already seeing a few renders of it based on the expected or rumored specifications. The devices in rumors these days are expected to be powered by Snapdragon 845 processor with 64GB internal storage and 3.5 audio jack intact. The duo is expected to have better IoT integration and camera sensor.
The most drastic change is said to be the placement of the fingerprint scanner, which is said to be under the display, though there are also reports that it will be on the rear side, below the camera. There are also some reports saying that the Galaxy S9 may get unveiled ahead of MWC, though if we believe a recent report the device won’t come before CES.
There have mixed reports for the device, so let’s wait for more concrete information about them.
