Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) to be released as Galaxy A8 2018| Bluetooth SIG

From last few days, the rumors Galaxy A series 2018 are popping out on regular basis, with each passing day we have something new and exciting regarding the upcoming upper mid-range series from Samsung. Recently we heard rumors that Samsung might unify their upcoming devices model names in the same passion they did with the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. From the look of the things, the upcoming Galaxy A5 2018 will be announced as Galaxy A8 2018 whereas the larger Galaxy A7 2018 will be released as Galaxy A8+ 2018.

Today Bluetooth SIG’s database appear online which once again reiterates the earlier rumors of unifying model names. Samsung is expected to bring Infinity display for the Galaxy A8 and A8+ 2018. The Exynos 7785 SoC will be powering the device with 4GB and built-in native storage is 32GB. The fingerprint scanner will be placed on the rear side at the same position where the company is planning to bring fingerprint scanner for the upcoming flagships Galaxy S9 and S9+.

So far the Galaxy A8 and A8+ appeared at FCC and Wi-Fi Alliance listings which suggests both the device's announcement is just around the corner, though the company yet to reveal their plans regarding the launch and release.
