The newest Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ 360-degree renders are suggesting that upcoming flagships are likely to feature a similar design as their predecessors Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. One main reason to believe these renders is that they have been shared by usually reliable tipster @OnLeaks who collaborated with 91Mobiles and MySmartPrice respectively for the same.
The Galaxy S9 render shows front panel design same as the Galaxy S8 which seems to be based on rumors that Samsung will be continuing with 18:9 aspect ratio Infinity Display. The placement of buttons and ports is exactly the same with all major changes taking place on the back panel. The biggest change is in the fingerprint scanner placement which is now shown to have been moved below the rear camera. If you might remember, Samsung was criticized heavily by many regarding the fingerprint scanner placement on the Galaxy S8 which makes it hard to reach. Considering this situation, it would make sense for the company to change the position to something more comfortable to access.
As for the Galaxy S9+, it is almost same as the Galaxy S9 which is something Samsung did this year as well between the two variants. But other than the new fingerprint placement, the bigger Galaxy S9+ variant is also shown to have dual camera setup which we saw in the Galaxy Note 8. But the alignment of dual sensors is shown vertically which is horizontal on the phablet.
You can have a look at 360-degree render videos for both upcoming flagships below:
There is not much information regarding what Samsung is planning for under the hood changes related to Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. If we talk about the availability, these were first rumored to make an appearance at CES 2018 but a newer report claimed that chances of that happening are doubtful.

I feel even if Samsung changes the fingerprint placement, that'd be great :p
:D :D Surely they will change it, especially after going through so much critisism.
This is what a Samsung fan like me should be expecting? Not really!
There you are. See how the iPhone X faired in terms of designing as compared to the previous iPhone models. There high hopes from the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+.
