Alcatel 5 with dual selfie cameras spotted on FCC with user manual

The upcoming Alcatel 5 mid-range smartphone has now been spotted on FCC which suggests an official announcement is around the corner. The listing on the regulators' website reveals a bunch of images showing the smartphone from all possible angles as well as the user manual for the device.

Starting with images, they show the Alcatel 5 from the front as well as backside. You can see that it has a significantly huge top bezel as compared to the bottom and side bezels. On the top, there are dual selfie cameras with a front flashlight. It has no physical buttons which is the reason that the bottom bezel is so slim. On the back panel, you will see the single rear camera followed by a LED flash and fingerprint scanner. The device also has a metallic finish which suggests it could feature a metallic body.

If we go through the previous reports, the Alcatel A5 sports a 5.7-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio which has started to become mainstream now. Under the hood, it has an undisclosed octa-core processor from MediaTek with an unknown capacity of RAM. The dual selfie camera setup is said to be of 16-megapixel with no words on the rear camera. As for the battery, the latest FCC listing reveals it to be a 3000mAh battery which should be able to last for a day.

The actual release date for the Alcatel A5 is still under wraps but with FCC listing out, it should not be too far away. We will keep you updated on the same.
