Microsoft's Windows phones are now practically dead, with no newer versions or devices in sight and the ever-decreasing support for existing ones. Microsoft seems to be working on the hybrid Surface Phone instead, so it is safe to assume that there'll no more Windows phones anytime soon.
Going into the year 2018, Microsoft has removed devices like the Acer Liquid Jade Primo and Liquid M330 from its Store, leaving only two devices: the HP Elite x3 and Alcatel IDOL 4S. This means that as of now, there are more Android devices on the Microsoft Store than Windows phones.
Support for both the Liquid Jade Primo and Liquid M330 is now over. No feature updates will be rolled out to these devices, and Acer won't even release the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. That's unfortunate for Windows Phone fans or buyers of these devices, because their market value is now going to drop pretty steeply.
Fortunately for HP/Windows Phone fans, HP will be sticking to its product and has announced that the Elite x3 will be available until 2019.
