Beauty redefined by limited edition Sandstone white OnePlus 5T

04 January 2018 1

As promised earlier this week, OnePlus officially launched the limited edition Sandstone white variant of OnePlus 5T. The new variant is redefining the concept of smartphone beauty, with its perfect finished white coating.

A couple of weeks ago the company announced the Star Wars special edition variant with white rear cover. The new Sandstone white is basically the Star Wars version, but without sci-fi nods. The company kept the black front and covered the rest of the device with Sandstone white finish. The contrast between black and white gives the device a premium look.

The Sandstone white variant OnePlus 5T differs from its Midnight Black variant on the texture at back. You will get a rough Sandtone feel while holding the new variant of the device, while the Midnight Black offers a smooth rear surface. This rough touch is offering an extra grip on the Sandstone white variant. OnePlus also changed the alert slider color of the new variant to an eye-catching red.

Apart from the next-level color scheme, the Sandstone White 5T also packs some next-level specs. It is powered by the same Snapdragon 835 chipset, but it is coupled by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Other specs and features are reportedly the same as that of Midnight Black variant. The 6.01-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 835 chipset, rear fingerprint scanner, face unlock, dual rear cameras, 16MP front snapper and a 3,300mAh battery are all the same.

Each Sandstone white 5T goes through a series of multi-stage process to reach the final stage. Hence it is claimed to be the 'most expensive OnePlus phone ever produced'. What do you think?

The OnePlus 5T isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.

The Sandstone has been making headlines of late. And as far as the Sandstone is concerned, to me, it looks great in grey or black instead of white.
