Back in last quarter of 2017, Huawei CEO stated they will be offering at least one variant of Mate 10 series in the US. The announcement was expected at the CES, unfortunately, that didn't happen instead the CEO confirmed at the CES their Mate 10 series won't be available via carriers. Today the company confirmed the Mate 10 Pro and Porsche Design variant availability for the US customers.
The company states Mate 10 Pro will be available at $799 via B&H, Amazon, Microsoft, Best Buy and Newegg from February 18th. If you are keen to confirm your order earlier, the pre-orders will kick off on Feb 4th. If you amongst those who don't want the traditional variant instead look for something special Huawei has Porsche Design Mate 10 Pro for you.
According to Huawei the reason behind the renewal of collaboration with Porsche is demand from Huawei consumers. The latest special variant is bringing a metal clad with entirely covered with shiny glass. The Porsche variant is available in black color only. The glossy rear is quite shiny, you have to take extra care of it to make sure it remains reflective. Being the most premium variant the Mate 10 Pro Porsche variant can be grabbed for $1,225. It will also be available at the same time alongside the regular Mate 10 Pro. Considering you will have to pay more than $400 to grab it, this variant comes with 256GB storage under the hood.
