10 January 2018 2

The well-known Smartwatch manufacturer Suunto today announced new 3 Fitness sports smartwatch at CES 2018. Being the fitness-focused smartwatch it features a number of plans related to training. The 3 Fitness shares visual looks pretty much similar to Suunto's Spartan Trainer watches. Its bezel is available in a couple of color options including gold and black with stainless steel chassis. In terms of color options, the 3 Fitness watch can be grabbed in All black, Gold, Sakura, Ocean and Black.

It features optical heart rate sensor which will provide solid BPM data. As I mentioned above there is number of tracking capabilities for gym training, running, cycling and swimming. It seems like it lacks GPS but it has an accelerometer. What makes the 3 Fitness watch special is its adaptive training mode.

You can set up a training plan for a week considering the exercise and fitness history and if you miss any session or you work extra the watch will automatically adjust your weekly exercise plan accordingly. So far this kind of feature was introduced by Polar and for sure it will be fun for Sunnto's Fitness 3 buyers as well.

You can monitor sleeping, activity timings, and heart-rate anytime anywhere. In terms of smartwatch features, the Sunnto 3 Fitness comes with calendar, calls and texts notifications. Like all smartwatches, all the data will be synced automatically in the companion App from the company.

As far as price is a concern the Gold and All black model will be available for $270 whereas the Black, Sakura, and Ocean will be available for $237. It is still not confirmed when Sunnto 3 Fitness sports watch will be available for purchase. Stay tuned, we will keep our readers updated regarding the release.
