HTC 10 is now getting Android 8.0 Oreo update

HTC 10 now also joins the Android 8.0 Oreo update flock. The software version is 3.16.617.2 and the huge OTA update has already started for the units. If you haven’t yet received the update or can’t wait for the same then you download the update manually.

HTC U11 has already gained the Oreo update in some regions, however, for the UK customers, the company has announced the delay. HTC U11 actually started receiving it back in November and is still receiving in some of the regions.

Needless to say, the update will fill great Oreo features to your HTC 10 device. You can expect to see picture-in-picture support, Autofill, notification dots, Instant apps, and more.

Announced in April 2016, HTC 10 is getting a major software update. It features a 5.2-inch Quad HD display and is powered by Snapdragon 820 processor. It has a 12 Ultrapixel camera with Laser autofocus and OIS; it has a 5MP front-facing camera. It has a full metal body and includes a fingerprint sensor on the home button. It boasts 3,000mAH battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
