Hauwei P20 may have a Full HD+ (18.7:9) display, benchmark suggests

12 January 2018 3

Last week has a lot been about the CES announcements, now it’s time to turn our focus on the usual leaks and rumors of the smartphones, also, the event didn’t bring any ‘great’ smartphone to the table. Now to give you some details about the new smartphones coming this year, we start with Huawei P20.

According to HTML compliance benchmark, the EML-AL00, which is one of the P20 variants feature 1,080x2,244 pixels resolution. This means we may see a variant of the Huawei P20 featuring a Full HD+ display. It should be noted that the resolution reported here is 1/3rd of the actual resolution, showing how mobile browsers work.

The device will hold the aspect ratio of 18.7:9, this is slightly wider than Samsung’s but not as wide as iPhone X’s screen.

The device can also feature a notch on the top of the screen, something we witnessed in these schematics, though it’s not yet clear whether they belong to P11 or P20.

Here in this benchmark test, the model of Huawei P20 ran Android 8.0 Oreo for the test.

There aren’t many details of Huawei P20 leaked yet but we may hear more about this new series soon, considering it’s one of the new flagships from Huawei.
