Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 alleged teaser highlights 18:9 display

Xiaomi has a smartphone to launch this month and this could be the widely rumored Redmi Note 5. Going by the recent tweet of Flipkart, the device should launch on February 14th, Valentine’s Day. The e-commerce giant tweeted a picture of the numeral 5 with #GiveMe5 hashtag that highly indicates that the Chinese smartphones company will launch the Redmi Note 5.

Well, there have been mixed rumors about this device. Some hearsays yelled that Redmi Note 5 is actually Redmi 5 Plus. We are getting ample amount of leaks no matter what’s the name of the device because these are the specs that have more weight to pull every attraction.

Now, the company has posted a new teaser highlighting the device’s large 18:9 aspect ratio high pixel density screen. The teaser writes “5 lets you see more,” indicating a larger screen, “gives you the widest perspective,” shows 18:9 aspect ratio, “5 makes colors alive,” indicating higher pixel density the smartphone is going to have.

Well, it’s great to see that the full-screen trend that once came as a feature of high-end devices is now coming on affordable devices as well so that more and more users could have a hands-on experience.

Gathering a few rumors of Redmi 5 Plus or Redmi Note 5, what we know is Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. There will dual rear cameras of 16MP+5MP whereas the selfie camera will be 8MP.
