Shazam for Android has received an update which brings significant changes to the app. These changes are related to the user interface as the newer version looks a lot cleaner and easier to navigate through different sections of songs info. It also bumps up the version number to 8.3.1.
With the latest Shazam version, you would not notice any difference unless you visit the song info page. The app now makes use of full-screen artist images and offers all sections in the form of tabs instead of a single scrollable page in the older version. A user can browse through these section by swiping left/right and check out the relevant information. These sections include Song, Lyrics, Video, Artist, and Related along with an option to share the info page.
If you are interested in knowing a little more about the artist or the album from which the song is, you simply need to tap on the artist's image. This will also show you the date on which you shazamed the song. Depending on the music streaming service you have installed on your phone, the app will show you options to listen or buy the song from there.
The Shazam 8.3.1 version has already started to roll out via Google Play Store. You should see the update anytime soon if you have not received it already. You can check it using the link given below.
