Snapchat recently went under a complete makeover of the design as it received an update. The newer version of the app brought a completely redesigned look which the company thought would be a welcome change. But as things have turned out, a large number of Snapchat users are disappointed with the new design and are constantly looking for ways to get the old design back. There is even a Change.org petition with over 1 million signs reflecting the same but it is unlikely to have any impact on the Snapchat team.
If you are wondering how you can get the old Snapchat back on Android, here is what you need to do. You simply need to follow the steps mentioned in this tutorial. So without further ado, let's get started.
Step 1: The first thing you need to is to uninstall the Snapchat version installed on your Android device.
Step 2: Open Google Play Store and visit app settings. From here, choose "Do not auto-update apps" settings. This will stop auto-updating of apps installed on your device. If you have already done this, you can skip this step.
Step 3: Grab APK for an older Snapchat version (v10.22.7.0 or lower) and manually install on your Android device. While you can download the APK from any website or resource that you prefer and trust, we would recommend using APKMirror.
Once the APK has been installed successfully, all you need to do is log-in using your Snapchat account credentials. This way, you will get your beloved old Snapchat user interface back and you can start to snap chat with your friends like you used to do before. The only thing you need to keep in mind is not to update Snapchat on your device. If you end up doing so, you will have to repeat all these steps again.
