Although the South Korean giant Samsung is getting ready to dominate the MWC 2018 with their latest flagships Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus that doesn't stop rumors mill from producing new leaks regarding the upcoming Huawei device. Huawei planned to skip the MWC event instead the company will be showcasing new P20 lineup smartphones in a dedicated event on March 27. Today we have another leaked render of P20 and P20 Plus which highlights the bezel-less design with a small notch. Huawei is expected to announce three P20 smartphones including P20, P20 Plus, and P20 Lite.
The timing of latest leak for sure will help Huawei to remain in limelight despite not announcing a new smartphone at the MWC. Huawei's latest flagships announcement is just a few hours away and we have a clear view of upcoming P20 and P20 Plus front-facing design. The leaked image showcases the P20 is featuring physical home button on the front which most likely will have a fingerprint scanner embedded under it. The P20 Plus comes with even more sleek design without any physical button on the front. Its fingerprint scanner is on the rear side. The P20 recently appear at TENAA with a similar design.
Recently we heard Huawei P20 and P20 Plus will have three camera lens on the rear but now it seems like only the P20 Plus will have tri cameras on the rear. In terms of specs, the P20 Plus is rumored to have 6.0-inches display with Full HD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The Kirin 970 SoC will be powering the device with 6/8GB RAM. The device native storage will be 128GB whereas the top-tier variant will have 256GB memory. A 4,000mAH battery cell will keep its lights on.
As far as three rear cameras are a concern, the primary snapper is expected to be 12MP, the second 16MP monochrome sensor and the last but not the least 16MP telephoto sensor. Up front, the selfie camera is expected to be 8MP with f/2.0 aperture. The top of the line P20 Plus with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is rumored to be exclusive to the Chinese market, it will cost 5,899 Yuan which is $930 at the current currency exchange rate.
