Smartisan Nut 2 might boast Snapdragon 625 SoC, 3340 mAh battery, edge-to-edge display

Popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer and telecommunication company Smartisan recently shared the details about the launch event, that would be held on April 9th. As per the speculations, the company would be releasing Smartisan Nut 2 on the event. Last year, the company launched Nuts Pro offering a great battery time with battery juice of 3500 mAh and also boasted a dual camera setup. This time, the Nut 2 is expected to have a design statement similar to the Mi MIX 2 as seen in the leaked images where the awaited smartphone could retain the fingerprint scanner position embedded within the home button on the chin of the phone.


This time, the Nut 2 might be fueled by a smaller battery of 3,340 mAh offering enough juice to power the phone for an entire day once charged fully. When it comes to the design statement, the phone could boast the much trendy edge to edge display with 18:9 aspect ratio with minimal bezels similar to the most of the flagships being released in the modern times.Coming to the software, Nut 2 will be running Android 7.1 Nougat with smartisan’s own UI layer implemented on top of it. Talking about the hardware specs, Nut 2 is expected to feature a 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB storage options.
