Xiaomi Mi Band 3 open sale kicksoff in China at 169 Yuan

Xiaomi took the stage last month to announce the third-gen of Mi Band tracker. Recently the company claimed they sold more than 1 million units of Mi Band 3 within 17 days of the announcement. The sales figure are way higher than the predecessor. The Mi Band 3 is up for sale for almost a month. After a month delay, the Mi Band 3 is finally available via an open sale. Now if you are looking to grab the Mi Band 3, you can pre-order it through the company's official site.

Now you choose between three new colors wristbands as well introduced a few days ago. If you change the standard wristband with any other color, you will have to pay 19.9 Yuan. The Mi Band 3 is featuring a display of 0.78-inches. The company claims the latest iteration of Mi Band is solely focused to provide better viewing experience to receive calls and messages.

One of the major issues related to the Mi Band 3 predecessor was related to tracker falling off from the strap. The company claims the issue is resolved with the Mi Band 3. Being a fitness tracker band, the Mi Band 3 brings the number of other fitness features including heart rate sensor, steps count, sedentary reminder and much more.

The Mi Band 3 is water and dust resistant device as it can resist water up to 50 meters which means you can take it during swimming. There is a variant with NFC as well. One of the key improvement is related to the battery. According to the company, the Band can survive 20 days on a single charge.

As far as pricing is a concern the Mi Band 3 will be available at a price tag of 169 Yuan in China, whereas the NFC variant is slightly expensive at 199 Yuan. Now you can pre-order Mi Band 3 from Xiaomi's official store.
