Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 now receiving MIUI 10 beta update

11 July 2018 3

Xiaomi has now released MIUI 10 beta update for the Mi Pad 4 tablet. This latest update carries the version number 8.7.5 which makes it the most recent build. The tablet was launched towards the end of the last month and this is the first software update for the device since the release.'

The Mi Pad 4 was announced with the latest Android 8.1 Oreo but it was running MIUI 9. This is the reason Xiaomi has released this new update to make it updated even in the context of MIUI update cycle. The all-new MIUI 10 comes loaded with a lot of new features with native support for notch and a special focus on artificial intelligence. It also has a lot of visual changes including a completely revamped recent apps interface.

It is worth mentioning that even though MIUI 10 is now available for Mi Pad 4, it is currently only in beta stage. It means there is a good chance that you might not see performance as smooth as the stable version. You might also encounter some bugs and other issues which is the reason we would not suggest installing the same unless you know what you are doing. If you are ready, click the source link below to download the necessary file weighing about 1.21GB in size.

To give you an overview, the Mi Pad 4 sports an 8-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. It features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. There is a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The whole package is powered by a 6000mAh battery.
