Xiaomi Mi Bunny Children Watch 3 official with LTE and AMOLED display

24 July 2018 3

Xiaomi has released a new kids smartwatch named Mi Bunny Children Watch 3 in China. As the name suggests, it is the third generation of the series and comes with a bunch of improvements over the previous offerings. The biggest additions to the newer version are 4G LTE connectivity and AMOLED display panel.

With the Mi Bunny Children Watch 3, you will get a 1.41-inch AMOLED display with 320 x 360 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There are no words on the choice of the processor but it should be capable enough to handle day-to-day tasks. There is GPS support so that parents can track their child's current location with accuracy. To further boost the safety aspect, it lets parents create a "safety net" which is basically like marking the safe area. Just when a kid would cross that area, the watch will instantly alert parents about the same.

To make the smartwatch useful for kids, it comes with a 2-megapixel camera with 30-degree shooting angle support. It also has the ability to recognize plants which can be helpful to kids in learning about plants nearby them. Since it has 4G LTE connectivity support, it means one would not have to rely on WiFi connection all the time. It further has an IPX7 certification which makes it water resistant.

The Mi Bunny Children Watch 3 has been released in Blue and Pink colors. It has been priced at 599 Yuan with sales via Mi Mall, Tmall, Suning, and Jingdong in China.
