Xiaomi's sub-brand Poco released its first smartphone Pocophone F1 about two months ago. It is a flagship-level smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage but for a starting price tag of just around $300. There is no prize for guessing that it has been selling like hot cakes in India ever since and now, it has finally made its way over to the United States.
The Pocophone F1 is currently listed for pre-orders on B&H Photo Video website in the USA. It has been listed only in 6GB RAM variant with 64GB storage for a price of $369.99. While it is certainly a little expensive than what it costs in the Eastern markets, it is still a pretty good deal for what it brings to the table for that price.
The only major flaw with the device is that it does not offer 4G LTE connectivity in the United States. It is listed to offer the best possible connectivity on AT&T 3G. For T-Mobile, it will work on the 3G network but is said to deliver the best and reliable connection on 2G networks. It means if you are someone who cannot or does not want to compromise on the 4G network speeds, you might want to have a serious thought before placing the order.
