When Oppo debuted its sub-brand Realme earlier this year, it was announced as an online-exclusive brand. It means if you wanted to buy a Realme product, you could do so only via online shopping channels. But now, Realme has finally embraced the offline market as it has announced the availability of all Realme smartphones via offline channels.
Realme has partnered with Reliance Retail Ltd. for its foray into the offline market. As part of the deal, Realme smartphones will be sold via a number of Reliance Digital and My Jio stores around the country. The whole offline expansion will happen in phases and during the first phase, Realme phones will be made available in over 130 cities via more than 600 Reliance Digital and My Jio stores.
The team has further plans of targeting the top 10 cities in the country starting next year. It will also be looking for exclusive distribution partners for providing a better offline shopping experience. Realme currently has four smartphones Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, and Realme C1 in its portfolio. Each of these models will be sold via offline stores which means no matter which phone you like, you can get them instantly by walking into your nearest store.
Madhav Seth, CEO of Realme India said in a statement,

With this partnership with Reliance stores, we are proud to have more locations to deliver this experience and welcome customers to the Realme family. While the market responded well, we are expanding our sales channels to reach out to the growing demands which is a testimony to our approach ‘Realme for every Indian’”.
