06 November 2018 2

After a bunch of leaks and speculations, the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple color variant has finally been made official in China. This is the third color variant for the flagship which was originally debuted in only Midnight Black and Mirror Black options. It is basically a gradient finish on the back panel with five different layers of the frosted glass. It looks quite premium and elegant while also reflecting the light for an eye-pleasing color finish.

Unlike the previous two color options, the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple color option has been released only in 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage configuration. It has been priced at CNY 3599 (about $520) with sales starting November 6th which is today. It is currently exclusive to the Chinese market with no words on the global release yet.

Other than the color variant, all other specifications are exactly the same. It means the OnePlus 6T sports a 6.41-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) Optic AMOLED display. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage.

It has a 20-megapixel and 16-megapixel dual rear camera setup with f/1.7 aperture with support for portrait shots and AI studio lighting effects. There is a 16-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The whole package is powered by a 3700mAh battery and runs Android 9 Pie out of the box.
