Huawei Mate 20 Pro coming to India on November 27

Huawei India has officially confirmed that it will be bringing its latest flagship Mate 20 Pro to the country on November 27th. It has started to send out media invites for the same which means we are only six days away from the official unveiling. It is also confirmed to be an Amazon India exclusive as the website also has a dedicated teaser page set up.

It will be the first time that Huawei will launch a Mate series smartphone in India. Earlier, it restricted itself to unveiling to mid-range phones and P series flagship phones. The Mate 20 Pro was globally unveiled at an event held in London last month. Although, there are no words on what exactly would be Indian pricing and when exactly it will go on sale.

To give you an overview, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro sports a 6.39-inch Quad HD+ (3120 x 1440 pixels) OLED display with a notch. Under the hood, it has the Kirin 980 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. There is a triple rear camera setup comprising of a 40-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture, a 20-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture.

On the front, it has a 24-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. The whole package is powered by a 4200mAh battery with support for fast and wireless charging technologies. It also supports reverse charging which means users can make use of the smartphone to charge other devices. It runs EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9 Pie features IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.
