03 December 2018 3

Mozilla’s VR web browser Firefox Reality has got a major update since its launch in September. The Firefox Reality 1.1 which is available for Oculus and Google Daydream VR brings in new features that make browsing easy while wearing VR headsets.

The new update adds features like immersive 360-degree video playback support on apps like YouTube. It now also comes with a Theatre mode which lets you focus on videos by highlighting the video player and dimming everything else in the background.

The browser now supports seven new languages: Chinese (Mandarin - simplified and traditional), French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Korean. It also lets you perform voice-based searches in supported languages so that you can enjoy handsfree browsing.

Other additional features available with the Firefox Reality browser are Automatic search, domain suggestions in the address bar and an ability to add bookmarks.
