While the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition has been launched in the US already. The phone is set to launch in India tomorrow and as per the latest leaked information, it may start retailing from the midnight of December 15th.
Talking about the pricing the special edition of OnePlus 6T, it was announced in the US for USD 699 and £649 in Europe with the sale starting December 13th. Since the phone may not be for masses, instead it's a collector’s edition, the Indian price is expected to be on a higher side and is rumored to be Rs. 49,999.
However, let us wait for tomorrow for the official confirmation.

There are still five days to go for the OnePlus event where it will be taking wraps off the special edition smartphone in collaboration with McLaren. It has also sent out media invites for the event scheduled for December 11th in London and December 12th in India. And now, it is the turn of Amazon India to do its bit in creating the buzz around the upcoming smartphone.
Amazon India has made the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition pre-registration page live on its website. The page shows a slight glimpse of the phone's top part where one can see the waterdrop styled notch. It features logos of OnePlus and McLaren along with the tagline "Salute to Speed". It also says OnePlus 5th Anniversary Celebration followed by Coming Soon label and a Notify Me button. Clicking the button will enroll the user to Amazon India's real-time update feed about the phone.
Additionally, OnePlus India started to sell passes for the Indian launch event in Mumbai. These passes were priced at Rs. 799 and they are out of stock as per the current listing. It mentioned that each of these pass holders will get a reserved seat at the event along with a goodie bag. The bag will include free OnePlus Bullet Wireless Red earphones and an official McLaren merchandise. They will also be providing snacks and drinks to all the attendees.
As far as details regarding the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition are concerned, they are quite scarce. It is speculated that it will be the first OnePlus smartphone to feature 10GB of RAM. There are also rumors that the phone will actually be called OnePlus 6T (McLaren) Speed Edition Orange but take everything with a pinch of salt.
