WhatsApp seems to be all set to join the list of apps featuring dark mode in the near future. The latest WhatsApp beta v2.19.82 has been spotted by WABetaInfo with the dark mode in action. It is worth noting that enabling the dark mode on the app is not a straightforward thing as the folks had to do some tweaking within the APK to get it to work.
The team has also shared a bunch of screenshots to show what to expect from WhatsApp dark mode. All of these screenshots are of the different app settings pages. It means we still do not know if the dark mode affects chats as well and if it does, then what it looks like. You can refer to the screenshots below to get a better idea of the mode:
It is worth noting that the WhatsApp dark mode is not made up of the usually used Black color tone. Instead, it has a dark grey shade does a similar job of making the interface look darker.
There are no words on when exactly WhatsApp will make the dark mode available for all users. It is likely to take some time considering that it is currently in beta testing and that too in a half-baked state. We will be keeping you in the loop as more details will emerge.

WhatsApp Dark Mode: How to enable the much-awaited feature https://technoidhub.com/app/whatsapp-dark-mode-enable-much-awaited-feature/16475/
Wow... isn't that catchy! Even the glimpse of the WhatsApp dark mode is making me happy! Waiting so long actually :)
I'm a beta tester of WhatsApp. And I wish when I check my phone right now, I'm in with the dark mode.
And so am I. But after checking for this update, I saw that in "What's New", it still shows the PiP mode and Private Reply feature. Nothing on the dark mode.
Well I understand if there's no WhatsApp dark mode yet even in beta. But it's insane to see the old features you mentioned still in showing in "What's New."
Lol... :D :D I am already using both features!
