OnePlus 7 launch date to be revealed on April 23

22 April 2019 2

If you are a OnePlus fan, you are likely to be eagerly waiting for the OnePlus 7 launch event. There have been numerous leaks about the smartphone as well as speculations regarding the release date. OnePlus has already started teasing the upcoming flagship as "fast and smooth" and now, it is gearing up for the launch.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has tweeted that he would be making OnePlus 7 launch date public on April 23rd. It means we are just a day away from knowing when exactly next OnePlus flagship would be released. If we consider the trend so far, the launch should happen sometime in May. If we have to be slightly more specific, it can happen in the second half of the next month.

This year's launch event is expected to be a big one as OnePlus is rumored to unveil multiple devices instead of just one. These include the standard OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, and OnePlus 5G smartphone. Each of these phones will bring something different to the table and will have a price tag matching the same. The 5G variant should end up being the most expensive OnePlus smartphone yet.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is tipped to sport a Quad HD+ AMOLED display with the 90Hz refresh rate. It will be the first time OnePlus will offer Quad HD display as it has been sticking with Full HD panel which is expected to be continued on the standard variant. There will be a triple rear camera setup featuring a telephoto sensor and a wide-angle sensor. Other features include dual speakers, 4,000mAh battery with 30W WARP charge support and USB 3.1 port.
